The very first conference organized by SIAM's new Education Committee! I am on the organizing committee.
I am also the organizer of a minisymposium on increasing diversity in mathematics, which I'm very excited about! I think we will have great discussions there.
I will also speak at Gil Strang and Pavel Grinfeld's minisymposium on teaching linear algebra, to talk about the projects I had my students do in one of my classes. They presented at the Cambridge Science Festival, did some independent learning about applications they were really interested in, and had such a blast!
